Does the vent have to be vertical?
Can I have a 90° bend?

It is highly recommended that system vents be vertical, especially in Non-Electric models, to ensure proper evaporation of liquid. Bends in the vent should not exceed 45° in any system at any time. 90° bends/angles should never be used. If a system is going to be installed with any bend in the vent, an Envirolet™ Turbo Fan is highly recommended to increase System performance.

Envirolet® Turbo Fan (12VDC or 120VAC)
Envirolet® Turbo Fan (12VDC or 120VAC)

Recommended for systems that are installed with any bends (or angles) in the vent. Also ideal to add increased performance to any system, especially Non-Electric models.
